Jannik Sinner's doping case has divided the tennis world for months, with the announcement he will serve a three-month ban leading to further questions

  American women’s professional   football (soccer)   league that began play in 2013. The first women’s professional league in the   United States , the Women’s United Soccer Association, debuted in 2001; this   iteration   folded after three seasons and was succeeded by Women’s Professional Soccer from 2007 to 12. The NWSL debuted in 2012. The league, which played its first game on April 13, 2013, consisted of eight teams. There were several expansions over the next decade, and as of the 2024 season there were 14 teams, with plans to add 2 more teams by 2026. The NWSL  comprised  14 teams in the 2024 season.
